A few weekends ago our church had a Fall Festival. There were games, food, crafts, and of course candy. Jonathan's favorite activity was cookie decorating, and I use the term decorating loosely. It was mainly Jonathan eating the candy that was suppose to go on the cookie. He hadn't been exposed to much candy before this, so it was quite exciting (for him).
We try not to keep candy in the house, but there has been a lot around b/c of Halloween. And they have been somewhat helpful with potty training. Jonathan gets one candy corn (or one mini marshmallow) when he pees in the potty. It worked out well (Jonathan has not peed in his big boy pants for the past week!), until Jonathan discovered that he had to pee every five minutes...and received a candy corn every five minutes. Hmmm I think we need to rethink this potty training strategy...
